OREC?

Seems that Asia wants to form a new Cartel called OREC organization or rice exporting countries to control the price of rice in the world. I think that thats just sneaky with the whole damn problem starting with Asia they make condoms and simply don't use them now they have a rapidly growing population with china alone having about 1,321,851,888 persons living there (July 2007 est.)china is roughly the same size of the united states and the us population is about 300 million plus. Asia consumes the most amount of rice than anywhere else in the world. In addition to this Asia has one of fastest developing economies in the world. Now lets sum it up and see what we have here. Rapidly developing population + Rapidly developing Economy= Lots of people with money with a large appetite for the same thing "RICE" therefore Asia having the largest population in the world are the ones causing the shortage in rice worst of all there economy is moving away from agriculture and more to commerce and technology. If they stop producing there main staple on a large scale then what do we expect. Maybe they can start importing migrant workers or use there ingenuity to build rice fields out in the sea of the land becomes too over populated. But its becoming really scary first rice and flour whats next?
